About Me
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, the city of world-renowned music and musicians, I have been around music as long as I can remember. I began playing drums at the age of seven. In my senior year of high school, I became the drum section leader of the Saint Augustine High School Band-Marching 100. I earned scholarships to Mississippi Valley State, Grambling State University and, Southern University. Opting to focus on a degree in Business, I enrolled at the University of New Orleans. Later, I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and a Masters in Business Administration but music remained my passion.
While attending college, I was familiar around the New Orleans club scene and claimed fame while starring in a local television dance show “The Famous”. Over the years, I acquired a musical ear and perfected the art of moving the crowd at parties. I am savvy in music genres that include R&B, 70′s, 80′s, 90′s, RAP, hip-hop, disco and house.
DJ B-Sharp has played music at numerous parties, events and clubs, in New Orleans. In 2005,I played at the Summit of National Brotherhood of Skiers opening the doors to play at other events. In 2006 I moved to the metro Atlanta area where I play mobile parties and various other engagements. The excitement continues as I am once again an invited attraction to play for the 2011 National Brotherhood of Skiers and their Summit.
